14. Do I need to own a plane, before I take lessons?
No, training centers/dealers should have aircraft available that you can rent for training. I recommend that you take lessons before purchasing a Powered Parachute, so that you can learn if flying a PPC is really for you. I'm confident that if you have read this far, this sport IS for you. But, in my opinion, if your training center/dealer is NOT willing to let you "try before you buy," they are probably MORE interested in SELLING you something and are not looking out for your best interests!!
