Frequently Asked Questions

23.  If a 2-seat PPC is: "To be used for training purposes only", can it ever be flown just for fun?

As of January 31, 2008, this "Training Exemption" no longer applies.  Sport Pilot Regulations are now in effect.

With the new sport pilot rule, once you have obtained your sport pilot license and have had your plane N-numbered, you will be able to fly for fun and take friends and family for rides without an instructor pilot certificate.
