Frequently Asked Questions

24.   Do I have to be a 'mechanical' type, to maintain my PPC?

No, 2-cycle engines are relatively easy to maintain.  Minor service can be done without much technical knowledge.  Some of the major service intervals and overhauls can still be performed, but now require some specialized knowledge and tools.  There are now 16-hour PPC Repairman -Inspector courses that you will have to take to perform annual inspections after January 31, 2008.
