In the unlikely event that the engine should fail, the pilot can safely maneuver the un-powered aircraft back to a landing site. Like most other airplanes, you will have a glide ratio of anywhere between 3:1 to 6:1, depending on the type of wing you are flying (rectangular of elliptical), the weight of the aircraft, the current winds, etc.
