Frequently Asked Questions

7.  How does the parachute deploy?

During your preflight, you simply lay the parachute out behind the airframe and start the engine.  As the pilot and aircraft start rolling forward for takeoff, the parachute will self-inflate with air from the propeller and position itself overhead.  This is known as "kiting your chute."  Upon reaching flying speed, the parachute automatically lifts the aircraft up into the sky.
