2)Ignore the Sport Pilot Regulations Some powered parachute pilots that I’ve talked with will be ignoring the Sport Pilot Regulations.This is a very bad idea.I have been instructed at all of the industry seminars that I have attended over the past year, that the FAA will be paying close attention to our flying community for regulatory compliance.Translation:The FAA will be traveling the countryside looking for non-compliance and will violate to the fullest extent of the law.In other words, you will not be able to hide by only flying in remote areas.The FAA has made this very clear.
