* Prices for engine inspections and rebuilds apply ONLY when the engine has been dismounted from the airplane before being brought to UltraFlight Aviation. There is a $75 surcharge if the exhaust and/or engine mounts have not been removed.
Includes carbon removal from tops of pistons, cylinder heads, and rings. Pistons and rings are checked for proper gaps and clearances and reported back to the customer. Before and after photo CD is included. Additional parts required: Gaskets for head, base, exhaust and intake.
Engine Break-in
Includes one hour engine run-up per Rotax schedule, inspection of installation, fine-tuning and jetting of carb (jets not included), and adjustment of propeller for correct loading, if applicable. Labor for Warp Drive and Power Fin Propellers are not included. All parts are at an additional cost.
Bing Carburetor Rebuild
Includes disassembly, cleaning, and inspection of the carburetor and jetting. The jetting settings are checked and reported to the customer. New jets are not included. Parts required for the recommended, annual rebuild of the carburetor are at an additional cost.
Mikuni Fuel Pump Rebuild
Includes disassembly, cleaning, and rebuild of fuel pump. Additional parts required: Mikuni rebuild kit.
Gear Box Rebuild
Includes preliminary disassembly, cleaning, inspection and rebuild. This service does not include propeller shaft removal or any bearing replacements. If additional service is required we will call you with a quote. B-Gearbox parts required: Disk springs and gearbox gasket. C-Gearbox and E-Gearbox parts required: Gearbox gasket.
150-Hour Inspection
Complete disassembly, cleaning, inspection, and re-assembly of your engine. Included is a photo CD of your engine, and a detailed breakdown report listing your current dimensions compared to Rotax tolerances. Parts required: Complete ROTAX gasket set. Some additional parts may be needed, in which case we will call you with a quote.
300-Hour Overhaul
Complete disassembly, cleaning, inspection, and re-assembly of your engine. Includes a photo CD of your engine and a detailed breakdown report listing your current dimensions compared to Rotax tolerances. Parts required: Complete ROTAX gasket kit, crankshaft, pistons, rotary valve shaft, rotary valve drive gear and bearing. Some additional parts and cylinder honing services may be required, in which case we will call you with a quote.
